Comparing Trump to Jesus? Blasphemy, but...
we all are given the choice to die to the old and be reborn.
So I saw on Twitter that Joseph D. McBride tweeted about Trump maybe being arrested during Lent supposedly drawing a connection to Jesus’s arrest implying he thinks Trump is innocent in this charge. I don’t really know that it was blasphemous as I don’t even know Joseph’s intentions. But, now, days later, it seems Trump may not even be charged either. So you could say this is all a moot point. But it’s been on my mind.
Donald Trump is No Savior
People clearly see Trump is not wholly innocent and can’t be compared to Jesus who was sinless. Ok, but that doesn’t mean the general point isn’t valid. So what do I think the general point is? There are times in our lives when, if we want greatness or to live healthy, happy lives, we have to die to our old self (bad habits), walk through the purificatory fire, and emerge like a phoenix rising from the ashes, as Christ did.
Trump is going through the fire, whether he lets it purify him is up to him, and I don’t know that he will. He was spitting mad when he thought he’d be arrested.
But then when I was falsely accused and went through that fire I was really mad too. We can hope it changes him for the better like my trial by fire did. I became thick-skinned and now it doesn’t matter that people falsely accuse me any longer.
Dying to the Old Self
Christ came to tell people that they could do what he did and they should do what he did figuratively. We are supposed to empty ourselves of our fleshy nature and listen to and be guided by a heavenly nature. You’re supposed to die to the “old man” and be reborn to do God’s will rather than your own. But, thank God, God’s will is actually more enjoyable than our ignorant miswanting.
Miswanting
We wrongly predict certain experiences will be good or bad for us, which means we spend a lot of time trying to get certain experiences that may never live up to the hype. And we also spend a lot of time worrying about things that are never as bad as we thought.
Maturing
When we get on a “high vibration” or are otherwise growing and maturing in life, inevitably comes “disaster.” It’s like drawing the “Tower” card in the Tarot. When you are feeling very optimistic and excited you are letting go of any resistance to all of the things you’ve been asking God for. God-Source knows what you actually want (which is pure and good). You probably don’t know what you actually want because you’re too busy miswanting stuff.
The Sims
In the game The Sims, the simulated people will act on an artificial intelligence system that sucks unless you were directly controlling them. When on AI, they basically try to have fun and forget about important large-picture things like finishing that book they were writing. The AI can lead them to fall asleep in their food because they didn’t plan to take a nap and started to starve while exhausted.
We are like those AI sims, unless we let go of our earthly desires and listen to God-Source on what we should be doing. Then we have a much more enjoyable time because God-Source knows the best possible way to get everything we actually want.
Attracting Judas
So, when we’re in tune with God-Source, feeling excited and optimistic, why does it seem like all hell breaks loose? Because you’re acting with more personal responsibility and fewer drama games you are now attracting a better life.
The best example is people, like Judas. If you’ve been immature leading up to this new-found maturity, it means you’ve been engaging in poor choices. You’ve probably been playing drama games with people. If you are exiting the drama triangle by taking personal responsibility, then the people in your life who you used to play drama games with will hate you.
To everyone in the drama triangle, you are either with them or against them. You are either an “ally” or a “persecutor.” So, if you no longer want to complain with them about things, they’re going to stop viewing you as someone they could be allied with, and they’ll start seeing you as the “bad guy.”
I made this video about 3 years ago. Because I sensed a theme in my life of people being very friendly with me and then all of a sudden shifting on a dime to calling me the “bad guy.” For a while, I didn’t know about the drama triangle and it was confusing to me.
But now I see clearly that I was maturing out of the drama-triangle dynamics and those people who were around me were not. Your vibe attracts your tribe, but your vibe also repels those not of your tribe. Resist the devil and he will flee. As you mature, you repel people who won’t mature with you.
Judas vs Jesus
I believe Judas saw things through a drama-triangle lens. He saw Rome as the “persecutor,” Jesus as the “Savior,” and the Jews as the “victims.” Jesus, on the other hand, explained that we each need to take personal responsibility for our own issues. Jesus was going to be transformed, resurrected, and he had a large tower moment with a betrayal and crucifixion.
We are to walk in Jesus’s footsteps, which means people will hate us. The word “name” means character. That is, we will be hated if we have the character of Christ. What is that character? Taking personal responsibility is part of it IMHO.
And you will be hated by all for my name’s sake.
Matthew 10:22
Whenever you choose to take personal responsibility, truth over lies, or love over hate, the people of the world (“the world” meant sinners) will hate you. Because people who love sin, hate, and lies will not like the light you shine.
This is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the Light and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. John 3:19-20
Trump & The Tower
Does Trump take personal responsibility? I don’t know if he does. I think he does a lot of blaming of others. But I do know that he’s promoting things that are focused on personal responsibility.
He did promote vaccines which I disagree with, but he did say people should be free to choose whether they get vaccinated or not. Compared to Biden, Trump was promoting personal responsibility there.
He said CRT shouldn’t be in schools, and Critical Race Applied Praxis (CRAP) is basically the drama triangle. Biden is pro-CRT, so compared to that Trump was again the choice for personal responsibility versus the blame game of CRAP.
Make America Great Again as a slogan really ticks off the left. That’s because they have different perceptions of what “great again” means. They read into it that people want racism because they’ve dehumanized “MAGAts” and are practicing the cognitive distortion “mind-reading”. But the slogan, to Trump, was about making America focused on itself and being Nationally responsible for itself, rather than being responsible as a savior to other countries.
So, even if he’s not personally taking responsibility for his own issues (maybe he is, but I don’t know him personally), he is pro-personal-responsibility when it comes to leading the nation on some very important cultural issues. And that makes people very much into the drama triangle hate him.
That causes them to “persecute” him even if their reasons are not truly legitimate reasons. So, maybe he’s being falsely accused and going through a trial of sorts in his personal life. What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. The choice is up to him.
This Happens To Us All In Some Way
I wanted to talk about this because it’s not just about Trump. I think, and I’ve talked about this before on my YouTube channel, that this time of year is one in which people get falsely accused a lot. And I admit that maybe that’s just because I noticed most of my betrayals have happened at this time of year because I grew up Christian (that’s what I was paying attention to). I also have talked about how in 6 months this may happen again for those on the other side of the world as it may be related to the stars.
It’s just not unusual for me to have someone betray me or falsely accuse me around this time of year here so I don’t find the comparison to the same thing happening to Trump to be blasphemy. We all have to go through these times when we are “leveling up” and there always seems to be some challenge or tower event to go through before we are transformed like the phoenix to something better and new.
As you mature, and lose old friends, you will also gain new ones eventually. There can also be a time after the tower event when you are more like a Hermit as you pick the pieces of your life up and repair it.
And remember the Tower only falls because it was built on sand. It’s the lies that are getting shaken up out of your life. But after the tower falls, you can build on the rock (truth) and that will stand the test of time.
