Tower Card & Deconstructing Phases
To Get What You Desire, Sometimes You Need to Deconstruct Your Beliefs
I’ve written before about having conflicting perspectives. So often we are in our 3D perspective, not “seeing the world through the eyes of source” as Abraham (Hicks) would say.
The bible says God has a higher perspective than we do. We can pray or attempt to meditate on what that higher perspective is. In addition to praying that every so often, one of the things I like to do is listen to an Abraham (as channeled through Esther Hicks) video while getting ready in the morning.
I was listening to the following video this morning and it reminded me of something else I’ve written about. In the video, “Abraham” is talking about Esther’s house. It may sound funny if you’ve never listened to this before because Esther is speaking about herself in the 3rd person.
[Apparently the video was removed from YouTube, sorry]
But, basically, her house was having an issue that it would make noises as she turned on the pool fire feature. To warm up the pool, it would make a howling sound in the house. So people, including the builders of the house and gas company employees, realized that they would have to tear some of the house apart to lay a new gas line.
She discusses in the video how the house, in effect, was having a step-one moment of contrast, seeing something it did not like. Contrast is seeing the difference between what we like and what we don’t like. So step 2 is the asking step. We ask for something better. In effect, the howling could be seen as the house asking for some better pipes.
Step 3 is allowing the change to take place. Now, a house is not resistant to getting fixed up in the same way humans are. So I wanted to make an analogy concerning humans. I thought this was a great example.
A human may see the world and not like how they’re getting paid. That’s a step one moment, not liking their pay compensation. They may think prices are too high or their pay is too low, and they want to afford the things they desire. Spiritually or vibrationally we’ve already asked for better the moment we noticed that things were not to our liking. So step 2 is already done.
Now our work is to stop the resistance and to allow what we’ve asked for in. You may wonder why anyone would be resistant to getting what they want, but it’s that we have a habit of thinking contrary things.
Having hate for those more wealthy than you is one way you can cause resistance. If you hold a belief that people who make a lot of money are evil, then your subconscious will not allow you to make a lot of money because you don’t believe you’re evil. To change that, you would have to deconstruct that belief. Not all wealthy people are evil. It’s not evil to have or want to have money.
I’ve written about the Tower Tarot Card before, but this is what it’s referring to. You need to deconstruct or tear down beliefs that are holding you back from what you desire.
Esther’s house was having a Tower moment. In order to expand (pipes), it needed to have some holes punched in it. Those holes would be covered up and look better than ever afterward. But there is a deconstruction phase before you can get the thing that is desired, especially if you have been resistant to allowing it for a long time.
The more you desire something that you haven’t been letting into your life, the more you may have to tear down some walls in your life or your mind or your heart to let it in.
When you are feeling high vibration, really happy, really excited, and something odd or devastating happens, you have the choice to view it as some form of “evil” trying to keep you from having what you desire, or you can see it as the universe/God/Source trying to deconstruct your life a bit in order to let in what you’ve been asking for. You may not see the connection to how something you’d consider bad or awful was working out for you in the long run, but it’s a much more worthy mindset.
I’ve been through these patches, and I have learned to simply trust that these “bad” things are actually working out for me in the long run. In fact, I now see it as a sign that a big improvement is trying to come into my life. That mindset helps me weather the deconstructing periods of my life, and if you do this too, you’ll see that you make it. Just like the house was patched up and better than ever, you too can be better than ever.
It’s our trials that make us stronger and more resilient. And I do believe that everything is working out for us. I hope you can too.
